Why are some books banned from schools and libraries? What is your position regarding the removal of books from library and classroom shelves? There are many books that are banned from schools and libraries for their history and maybe inappropriate language. Some events in history can be perceived in both positive and negative ways. Controversial topic books can also be revoked from libraries and schools due to the topic. In my personal opinion, I believe that schools and libraries have absolutely no right to remove these profound books from their book selection because the books were written for a reason.
